Your Story Can Inspire the Next Generation: Become a Memory Project Speaker
For many Canadians, the history of military service can feel distant—something learned from a textbook, a ceremony, or a family story.
The Memory Project helps bring that history to life by connecting Veterans and Canadian Armed Forces members with students across the country. Through classroom visits and virtual presentations, speakers share their own experiences of service, sacrifice, leadership and life in uniform.
These are not lectures about dates and facts alone. They are personal stories that help young Canadians better understand the people behind our country’s military history.
The Memory Project is inviting Veterans, serving CAF members and Reservists to become speakers.
Whether you served decades ago or are still serving today, your perspective can make a meaningful difference. Speakers are supported by The Memory Project team and can share their story in a way that feels comfortable and authentic to them.
More than 1,000 Veterans and CAF members have already shared their experiences with students. Their stories help preserve Canada’s military history while giving the next generation a more personal understanding of service.
